Hopper
You may have heard this name before from the bad guy of Speed, actor Dennis Hopper, but it's rare that we hear it as a first name. In 1993, Sean Penn and Robin Wright named their son Hopper Jack after Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson, but it seems that the trend of this cute uncommon baby name hasn't caught on yet. In the English and Scottish origin it has an occupational meaning of "acrobat," and in Dutch it means "hop grower or seller." What do you think of this baby name; is it cool and will we hear it more?

My name is Jessamyn and I've never met someone with my name. I go by Jessamyn, Jess, Minnie. I'm happy my mom gave me such a unique name, makes me feel like one of a kind.
I like isadora and hopper. Not sure if I would use them. My son is Jacob we both really like the name thought it would be easy to spell with both of us having names we often need to spell! His middle name is a little bit more unusual but still traditional, after his godfather. I was a little sad to hear that my cousins friend was married to a Jakob as now my son will probably be asked how to spell his name constantly! To the pp who said your child would be looking up every 5 mins if there name is too common or too similar to a common name I say get over it! I happen to have the exact same name as my sister in law (both married into the family) and we survive! As a child I was the only one with the name and I hated it so who cares! My advice is Pick a name you like not because its "you-neeke" and don't bloody spell it wrong!!
My name, Katricia, is pretty unique
@Laurel that is such a cute name! I love it
I love Isadora that was my great grandmothers name & Ainsley for a boy sounds so sweet!
My name is Lida which is uncommon too;) it means worshipped by everyone.
I like the names Nolan genevieve for a girl and Ryker Abraham for a boy
