How to order OTC from Cigna? ›

How do I know if I can use my OTC benefit card on a specific item? To confirm item eligibility, call your OTC plan provider at the number listed on the back of your card.

This preloaded benefit card gives you access to your over-the-counter (OTC) allowance, incentive rewards, and other benefit allowances that may be part of your plan. 1. Depending on your plan, benefit allowances will be loaded automatically onto your Cigna Healthy TodaySM card each quarter.

You can check your card balance, by going to CignaHealthyToday.com or calling customer service at 1-866-851-1579 (TTY 711), Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. EST.

OTC items are not eligible for reimbursem*nt if they are normally used for general health, are not used to treat a medical condition (e.g. toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, shampoo) or are cosmetic in nature (e.g. teeth whitening products, wrinkle reducers). See additional examples in the OTC Chart.

Examples of approved food items are fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, seafood, eggs, dairy, rice, pasta, beans, and much more.

You can also get everyday items like laundry detergent, soap and toothbrushes. If you previously ordered OTC items through Acaria or through the Envolve OTC mobile app, you will need to create a new account with CVS .

How often is money loaded on OTC card? ›

Remember, the benefit doesn't roll over and unused funds expire at the end of each quarter (March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31). Your new quarterly benefit will automatically be reloaded on the first day of the new quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1).

Can I check my OTC Card balance? Yes, you can. Check your balance online anytime at mybenefitscenter.com. Once on the site, you will be asked to enter your 19-digit OTC Card number.
