We came up with this Super Healthy Keto Avocado Smoothie because we recently saw one at a popular health food shop near us that was almost there apart from some of the high sugar ingredients.

Instead of the regular whey protein that the “nutrition” outlet used, we used a keto collagen protein that we keep on hand. As the carbs are all fiber, it also has MCTs to increase fat content, and collagen protein is more Keto friendly than whey protein.
I also wasn’t sure if they were cutting corners with the peanut butter part of the ingredients, so I made sure that we used 100% natural peanut butter in our smoothie recipe to keep it low-carb and Keto, also avoiding added sugars.
Along with those ingredients, to thicken the smoothie, we used two teaspoons of psyllium husk.
Keto Avocado Smoothie Ingredients
- 1 scoop Vanilla Collagen Protein with MCTs
- 1/2 Avocado
- 2 teaspoons of Psyllium Husk
- 1 tablespoon of Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 1/2 cups of Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 5 Walnuts, crushed
- (optional) 1 tbs of Green Tea Matcha
Note: We Added Some Green Matcha to this recipe for extra fat burning and presentation. You can too if you like, but you don’t have to.
How To Make A Keto Avocado Smoothie
- Remove the flesh from the avocado.
- Put all the ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker.
- Blend until smooth, 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on your blender.
- Pour into a tall glass or milkshake container.
- Serve and enjoy!
Note: Though the nutrition panels state 21g of Carbs, that is almost ALL Fiber. There is only 3g net carb per smoothie.
Keto Avocado Smoothie - Healthy Energy Booster
This Delicious Keto Avocado Smoothie is loaded with nutrients and only 1 net carb due to the "Secret" Ingredients. The fats to protein, carb ratio is just about perfect and it is very high in prebiotic fiber as well. This is one Super Healthy Low-Carb Smoothie!

This smoothie was great! Eating the keto way, you don’t miss any added sweetners as you taste the sweetness from the vanilla and the nut butter.Reply
This looks delicious! I can imagine that the avocado would add a delightful creaminess to the smoothie. I am going to make this for my breakfast!
